Responsibilities
As an AV Technician, you will provide day-to-day support for meeting rooms, events, and end users, ensuring all AV systems are fully operational and issues are resolved efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing 1st line AV support to users across all levels of the business
- Performing daily checks and testing of meeting room technology
- Setting up and supporting meetings, video conferences, and events
- Managing and resolving AV support tickets through to completion
- Monitoring incoming requests via phone and email channels
- Troubleshooting faults across AV and VC systems
- Supporting the setup, operation, and breakdown of AV equipment
- Assisting with event preparation, rehearsals, and coordination of additional equipment
- Managing onsite stock, consumables, and critical spares
- Working closely with wider support teams to maintain service delivery standards
Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a corporate AV support role
- Strong understanding of AV and video conferencing technologies
- Experience supporting meeting room environments
- Able to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Calm and professional when working under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, organised, and self-motivated
- Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels
