    AV Engineer - £45,000 to £50,000 - London

    An established and highly respected AV managed services provider is looking to appoint an experienced Onsite AV Engineer to join its London team, supporting a prestigious corporate client.

    This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll take ownership of maintaining, troubleshooting and supporting a wide range of audiovisual and unified communications technologies across a modern corporate environment.

    Working as the dedicated onsite engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring meeting spaces, collaboration technologies and presentation systems remain fully operational while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

    The Role

    As the Onsite AV Engineer, you'll be responsible for the maintenance, support and continual improvement of the client's AV estate.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Providing onsite engineering support for audiovisual and unified communications systems.
    • Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software faults across AV equipment.
    • Carrying out preventative maintenance to maximise system reliability and minimise downtime.
    • Supporting video conferencing, presentation systems, digital displays and audio systems.
    • Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, schematics and technical drawings.
    • Testing, repairing and replacing AV equipment where required.
    • Managing and maintaining accurate hardware asset records.
    • Supporting installations, system upgrades and technology refresh projects.
    • Working closely with remote engineering and service teams to resolve complex technical issues.
    • Maintaining technical documentation and service records.
    • Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with health and safety procedures and company quality standards.
    • Identifying opportunities to improve service delivery and system performance.

    About You

    To be successful in this role you'll have:

    • Proven experience supporting corporate AV systems within a commercial environment.
    • Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills across audiovisual technologies.
    • Experience with video conferencing and collaboration platforms.
    • A good understanding of AV networking principles.
    • Experience maintaining and servicing professional AV systems.
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
    • The ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively under pressure.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.

    Desirable Experience

    Experience with any of the following would be highly beneficial:

    • Crestron DigitalMedia (DM)
    • Audio DSP technologies
    • Video conferencing platforms
    • AV control systems
    • IP networking
    • Electronic engineering qualifications
    • Touchscreen control systems
    • AV programming technologies
    • Corporate managed service environments
