    AV Support Technician - £35,000 to £38,000 - Scotland

    We are seeking an experienced AV Support Technician to join a well-established on-site service team within a leading enterprise environment. The role is split between client sites in Edinburgh and Glasgow.

    This is a fantastic opportunity to work with cutting-edge audio-visual technologies, supporting high-profile meeting spaces and events, while delivering a first-class service to end users. The role offers strong exposure to both AV and IT support, with the opportunity to contribute to continuous service improvement.


    Key Responsibilities

    Audio Visual Support

    • Provide onsite AV support across offices in Edinburgh and Glasgow
    • Deliver day-to-day technical support for AV systems, working closely with internal IT teams and third-party providers
    • Manage tickets and incidents through a ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution
    • Conduct daily “ready for business” checks across meeting rooms and event spaces
    • Deliver executive/VIP (white-glove) meeting support and setup
    • Support and manage onsite and hybrid events, including planning, testing and delivery
    • Perform equipment maintenance, including break-fix and basic repairs
    • Coordinate firmware/software updates in line with change control processes
    • Manage local spares, consumables, and AV documentation
    • Liaise with offsite support teams, field engineers, and vendors as required
    • Schedule and coordinate preventative maintenance activities
    • Support user training and adoption of AV services

    IT Support (1st Line)

    • Provide basic IT support when required, including:
      • Password resets
      • Hardware troubleshooting (laptops, monitors, peripherals, docking stations)
      • Basic Microsoft Office support
    • Escalate more complex issues to relevant support teams

    Candidate Profile

    • Proven experience in AV support within a corporate or enterprise environment
    • Strong customer service skills with a proactive, user-focused approach
    • Comfortable supporting high-profile users and live environments
    • Organised and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities
    • Basic IT support experience (1st line level)
    • Familiarity with AV technologies such as Crestron, Yealink, Biamp or Shure is advantageous
