    Business Development Manager - Ireland

    We are supporting a global technology and services organisation in the search for an experienced Business Development Manager to join its Dublin-based commercial team.

    This role offers the opportunity to join an established operation with significant scope to drive new revenue, expand service offerings, and build long-term client relationships across a range of sectors. Experience and seniority will be reflected in a competitive salary and benefits package.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities across defined markets.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients and existing stakeholders.
    • Promote and sell managed support and professional service offerings.
    • Research, qualify, and manage sales leads through the full sales lifecycle.
    • Proactively contact potential clients to establish rapport and secure meetings.
    • Track competitor-held contracts to support renewal and displacement strategies.
    • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to refine sales approach.
    • Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, operations, and technical specialists to align commercial strategies.
    • Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline, and forecasting using CRM tools.
    • Attend relevant industry events, networking sessions, and conferences.
    • Meet or exceed agreed sales targets and KPIs.
    • Provide regular reporting and updates to line management.

    Desirable Experience & Attributes

    • Proven background in business development or sales within technology, services, or construction-related environments.
    • Experience selling support services, managed services, or technical solutions.
    • Comfortable with outbound prospecting and cold outreach.
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
    • Commercially astute with a structured approach to pipeline management.
    • Ability to engage with consultants, contractors, and end-user organisations.
    • Organised, self-motivated, and target-driven.
