We are recruiting for an experienced Event & Conference Technician to join a professional onsite AV support team within a prestigious corporate environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong audio visual and video conferencing experience who enjoys supporting live events, executive meetings, town halls, and day-to-day meeting room operations.
You will provide technical support across a range of event spaces, meeting rooms, conference facilities, and video conferencing environments, ensuring a seamless experience for end users and senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and operate live events, presentations, town halls, and conference spaces
- Set up and support video conferencing platforms including Zoom, Cisco, and Microsoft Teams
- Provide first and second-line AV support and troubleshooting
- Perform daily system checks and preventative maintenance
- Support users with meeting room and collaboration technologies
- Prepare and configure equipment for meetings and events
- Assist with live streaming and hybrid events where required
- Deliver a high level of customer service to users at all levels
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Previous experience in an AV, Events, or Conference Technician role
- Strong knowledge of audio, video, and video conferencing technologies
- Experience supporting corporate meeting rooms and event spaces
- Excellent troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure environments
Desirable
- Experience supporting live streamed or hybrid events
- Knowledge of Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Cisco, or similar collaboration platforms
- Experience working within a corporate or managed service environment
