We are recruiting for an experienced Event & Conference Technician to join an established corporate AV operation in London.
The role will involve providing hands-on technical support across events, conference rooms, meeting rooms and video conferencing environments, working with a broad range of AV and VC technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate AV systems for events, presentations, conferences and town halls.
- Support audio, video, lighting and video conferencing systems.
- Manage VC bookings, setup, testing, monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Carry out first and second-line fault finding, repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Provide onsite support to senior stakeholders and end users.
- Support live streaming and larger-scale corporate events.
- Assist with equipment preparation, room checks and system testing.
- Work closely with wider technical and operations teams to resolve issues.
About You
- Previous experience as an AV, Event or Conference Technician.
- Strong knowledge of audio, video and lighting technology.
- Experience with Zoom, Cisco and Poly conferencing systems.
- Confident troubleshooting technical issues under pressure.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Professional and comfortable working with senior executives.
- Able to work independently and as part of a wider technical team.
- Flexible to support occasional early, late and out-of-hours events.
