We are recruiting for a Global Service Desk / VNOC Engineer to join a growing remote support team providing technical support for enterprise AV, collaboration, and workplace technology environments.
This role is open to either:
- An experienced AV Service Desk / VNOC Engineer
- An AV Technician looking to move into a remote support role and develop their career within service operations
The position is fully remote, however the 24/7 shift pattern is non-negotiable as the team provides around-the-clock support to enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line remote technical support for AV and UC systems
- Diagnose and resolve faults using remote management tools
- Escalate complex issues to field engineers or manufacturers where required
- Manage support tickets through to resolution
- Support firmware updates, backups, and system administration tasks
- Liaise with client IT, networking, and facilities teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and service records
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in AV support, service desk, helpdesk, or onsite AV operations
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Experience supporting Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom, or similar collaboration platforms
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to work a structured 24/7 rotating shift pattern
Desirable
- Experience with Crestron, Q-SYS, Extron, Biamp, or Shure systems
- Knowledge of AV over IP, digital signage, or remote management platforms
- Previous VNOC or NOC experience
