We are recruiting for an Installation Engineer to join a specialist engineering team delivering cutting-edge technology installations within luxury residential properties and superyachts.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with an interest in AV, smart home technology, or electrical installations who enjoys hands-on work and wants to develop their technical skills while working on prestigious projects.
The Role
You'll be responsible for installing, upgrading, and supporting a wide range of technologies including audio visual equipment, lighting control systems, and smart home solutions, ensuring every installation is completed to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Install displays, projectors, speakers, touchscreens, and AV equipment
- Install equipment racks and associated cabling
- Assist with lighting control systems and smart home technologies
- Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Ensure equipment and materials are prepared and delivered to site
- Maintain accurate installation records and communicate progress with project teams
- Deliver a high standard of workmanship and customer service
Skills & Experience
Essential
- An interest in AV, smart home, or electrical technologies
- Basic understanding of cabling or technical installations
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Good communication skills and a collaborative approach
Desirable
- Experience with AV, home automation, or lighting control systems
- Knowledge of platforms such as Crestron, Control4, Savant, KNX, Lutron, or Rako
- Ability to read technical drawings
