Pre Sales Consultant - Remote - £45,000 to £50,000 plus car allowance £5k
You will be required to travel to client sites for meetings predominately in London.
We are working with a growing technology integrator looking to strengthen their pre-sales function with the addition of an experienced Pre-Sales Consultant.
This role will play a key part in supporting the sales process by designing tailored AV solutions, engaging with clients to understand their requirements, and ensuring projects are fully scoped and ready for delivery.
You’ll collaborate closely with sales and delivery teams, helping to secure new business while ensuring a smooth transition into project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside the sales team to understand client requirements and define solution scope
- Attend client meetings and site visits to gather technical and commercial information
- Produce detailed proposals, estimates and solution documentation
- Design AV systems, including schematics, bills of materials and technical specifications
- Support client presentations, demonstrations and solution walkthroughs
- Ensure all secured projects are fully documented and ready for handover to delivery teams
- Provide technical input throughout the project lifecycle, including site meetings where required
- Maintain consistency in documentation, standards and design processes
- Keep up to date with new technologies, products and industry developments
- Contribute to continuous improvement of internal processes and standards
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in a Pre-Sales / Solutions role within AV or technology integration
- Strong understanding of installed AV systems and solution design
- Experience producing technical drawings (CAD, Stardraw or similar)
- Commercial awareness with the ability to support winning new business
- Confident communicator, comfortable working directly with clients
