An established and growing technology integration business is looking to appoint a Procurement Coordinator to join its Operations team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with procurement or purchasing experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment. You'll play a vital role in ensuring projects are supplied with the right equipment, at the right price and at the right time, working closely with Project Managers, Sales and suppliers to keep projects running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the procurement process from quotation through to delivery.
- Raise and process purchase orders for project equipment and materials.
- Obtain competitive pricing and lead times from manufacturers and distributors.
- Review supplier quotations to ensure pricing accuracy before orders are placed.
- Track deliveries into the warehouse and coordinate deliveries to project sites.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendor partners.
- Work closely with Project Managers to ensure procurement supports project schedules.
- Support Sales and Design teams with pricing during the quotation stage.
- Maintain accurate supplier pricing within quotation and ERP systems.
- Monitor outstanding orders and proactively communicate delivery updates.
- Resolve supplier queries, shortages and order discrepancies.
- Assist with invoice queries and supplier reconciliations.
- Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and supplier performance.
About You
We're looking for someone who is organised, commercially aware and enjoys working collaboratively across multiple departments.
Ideally you'll have:
- Previous experience in procurement, purchasing or buying administration.
- Experience within the AV, workplace technology, electrical, construction or a similar project-based industry would be highly advantageous.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach.
- Good commercial awareness and confidence working with quotations and supplier pricing.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive approach with strong problem-solving ability.
- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Experience using ERP, procurement or quotation software would be beneficial.
