AV Project Engineer - London/Hybrid - £45,000 to £55,000
We are working closely with a progressive expanding AV integrator who are currently recruiting for a number of positions.
Working with the Operations team to engineer solutions from concept design to reality. You will be required to have an excellent understanding of Corporate AV solutions, CAD and have a keen eye for detail within the execution of engineering successful AV deployments. You will be required to maintain quality and efficiency with the team working closely with the project manager in order to hit agreed milestones.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Deliver systems engineering to the company's defined Standards.
- Be competent with using AutoCAD to produce schematics, plans and elevation drawings.
- Perform work on multiple projects within the budgeted cost and to the satisfaction of the client.
- Be willing to ‘own a job’ – pride in what we do is an important part of the culture and this needs to be shown through ones’ work.
- Work closely with the project manager and lead installer in order to realise successful project delivery.
- Produce technical information and engineering documentation as specified in the Standards for internal use, clients and external contractors.
- Ratify designs put together by the pre sales team for the execution of a successfully delivered project.
- Work closely with the client and the clients general contractor to determine logistical plans for placement of hardware.
Requirements
- Competent with AutoCAD and MS suite of products
- Capable of good communication skills both verbal and written, being able to communicate with everyone from clients to building contractors.
- Perform work on multiple projects within the budgeted cost and to the satisfaction of the client.
- Have a knowledgeable understanding of the current portfolio of corporate AV products and a willingness to learn about new technology
