An established technology business is looking for an experienced AV professional to join its Midlands team as a Regional Technical Estimation Manager.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in AV system design, pre-sales or technical estimating looking to take the next step into a broader role combining regional estimating responsibility with technical account management for a key client.
The Role
- Lead regional estimating activity, ensuring quotations are accurate, commercially competitive and delivered on time.
- Support Sales teams with technical solutions, system design and project costing.
- Manage technical account requirements, developing AV solutions in line with client standards and bespoke project needs.
- Review system designs and technical documentation, working closely with design and project delivery teams.
- Build strong relationships with clients, manufacturers and suppliers.
- Support project delivery by providing technical guidance and resolving issues.
- Contribute to team development and continuous improvement across estimating processes.
About You
- Experience in AV system design, pre-sales, technical estimating or a similar AV technical role.
- Strong understanding of AV systems, equipment and solution design.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to produce accurate technical quotations.
- Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with clients and collaborating across technical and commercial teams.
