We are looking for an experienced Technical Manager to join a leading AV and technology integration team. This is a senior, hands-on role, providing technical leadership, pre-sales support, and project oversight across high-profile domestic and international projects.
What You’ll Do
- Lead technical design, estimating, and pre-sales support for projects
- Review and interpret RFPs and tender documentation
- Manage design changes and ensure all technical documentation and drawings are accurate
- Oversee rack build, system testing, and commissioning activities
- Support programming, configuration, and integration of AV and UC systems
- Work closely with project teams to ensure timely delivery and adherence to project requirements
- Mentor junior technical staff and delegate responsibilities as required
Experience
- Strong technical knowledge of AV systems, video conferencing, and IT/UC integration (e.g., AMX, Crestron, Extron, audio DSP)
- Proven experience managing technical projects from pre-sales through delivery
- Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams
- Customer-focused, proactive, and professional at all levels
